Green Fleet:

Consists of first year sailors who have completed the summer 'Learn to Sail' sessions. They sail International Optimist Dinghy's (IODs), which are affectionately referred to as Opti's.

Red, White, and Blue Fleets Coach:

The Red, White, and Blue fleets (RWB) consist of advanced sailors who have completed a single year of Green Fleet. The Red, White, and Blue fleets are divided by age, although they sail together and act as a single team. The RWB Fleet also sails Opti's.

Portsmouth Coach:

The Portsmouth fleet consists of the most advanced sailors, who have sailed with VYBA for a long amount of time. They sail any class of vessel with a Portsmouth rating, and usually own their own boats. The current Porthsmouth fleet consists entirely of Lasers.

High School Coach:

The High School fleet based out of the Venice Youth Boating Association is the Venice High School Sailing Team. They sail 420 class boats.
