Coach Jane

Jane grew up in Dartmouth, Massachusetts and graduated from Tabor Academy in 2008. She decided to head towards warmer weather and moved to Sarasota in August of 2009. She grew up sailing with Community Boating Center of New Bedford and became of lover of the sport. Since 2006, Jane has been working summers with Community Boating Center coaching ages five to eighty-five in many types of sailboats as well as teaching powerboat courses and now holds position as head coach. For the past year, she has been teaching learn to sail programs with Sarasota Youth Sailing. Jane holds US Sailing Small Boat Level 1 Instructor, Small Boat Level 2 Coach and Powerboat Instructor certifications
