TELL TALES (Oct 26, 2011)

Sat. October 29th Fred Strammer 2016 Olympic hopeful will be at VYBA ay 12:30 to talk to our sailors about his journey from beginning sailing at VYBA with Jabbo being his coach to Brown University and now he is on the road to the 2016 Olympics.

Fri. October 28th Fred Strammer will be at the VYC for a fundraising presentation from 5:30-7:00. This is free and open to the public. It will take place in the upstairs of the VYC.

IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR GREEN FLEET: We will not be offering Saturday afternoon sailing for Green Fleet until December 3rd. The sailing time for Green Fleet until then will be 8:00-12:00.

Congratulations to Donna and Dave for their marriage on Oct. 8th. We hope you have many years of happiness and adventure together. A very special thank you for having VYBA as one of the foundations for your guests to donate to in lieu of gifts. That was very special and thoughtful.

VYBA Polo’s you ordered will be in Sat. for pick up. They are $17 each. Please have either the correct change or you may write a check to VYBA.

For Sale: We now have sweat shirts for sale at $20, long sleeved 2010 Jabbo Gordon Regatta shirts at $10, 2011 Jabbo Gordon short sleeved T-shirts at $5 and our grey T-shirts at $10. All are displayed in the pram. If you are interested in purchasing them please see me; Joy. I will be in at 12p.m. Sat.
