STORAGE AGREEMENT FOR BOATS ON OUTSIDE OR INSIDE RACKS

The Venice Youth Boating Association, Inc. will provide storage on the outside or inside racks on the grounds of the Venice Yacht Club for the above named boat for a period of one (1) year, from September 1 through August 31. The cost for outside storage is $80 and inside storage is $90.

 

Neither the Venice Youth Boating Association nor the Venice Yacht Club nor members of their respective Board of Directors assumes liability for damages to the stored boat or gear due to fire, theft, vandalism or other form of violence or from flood, windstorm or other acts of nature; nor will the Venice Youth Boating Association or the Venice Yacht Club or members of their respective Board of Directors be responsible for any injury to persons using storage areas in pursuance of this agreement.

 

It is also agreed that the stored boat and gear will be removed from the area at the expiration of this agreement, unless it has been previously renewed, or at any other time as may be determined by the Board of Directors of the VYBA or the Venice Yacht Club.

 

All outside stored boats are to be secured with tie down straps or rope. In the event of the approach of a major storm, the boat must be removed from the premises for the duration. If you are leaving for an extended length of time, you must remove your boat.
